Responsible Service of Alcohol The Brisbane Racing Club Ltd promotes and practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol. A key objective of the Brisbane Racing Club Ltd is to ensure that the behaviour of our racegoers does not adversely impact on other patrons, staff, our neighbours and the community at large. All staff members have been trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol and are instructed not to serve any alcoholic beverages to guests under 18 years or to guests in a state of intoxication. Patrons deemed to be unduly intoxicated will be refused service and may be asked to leave the premises. Under 18’s Minors must be accompanied at all times by a responsible adult (i.e. parent or guardian) exercising parental control and who actively supervises the minor at all times. DRESS MEMBERS’ RESERVE Ladies: Neat dress in keeping with the dignity of the Members Reserve. No bare midriffs or playsuits. Gentlemen: 1-30 April | 1 July – 31 October Collared business shirt (short or long sleeved) tucked in with tailored trousers or chinos and covered dress shoes. Jacket optional. 1 May – 30 June Long sleeve collared business shirt (tucked in) with tailored fashion trousers and covered dress shoes. Suit jacket and tie optional. If you are entering the Members Only Bars Suit jacket’s are required. 1 November – 31 March Short-sleeved collared button down shirt with tailored shorts or trousers, tucked in shirts, and covered dress shoes. Midweek: The Members’ Reserves are open to all, with patrons requested to dress in a neat and tidy manner. Important: * Denim, joggers, thongs, and shorts are not permitted in Members’ Reserve areas. * Members and their Guests and Owners may be denied entry by BRC staff if the above regulations are not adhered to. * Shoes are to be worn at all times around the venue. * BRC Management reserves the right to exercise discretion in respect to dress regulations.
3 BOOKMAKERS’ MINIMUM WAGERS In accordance with Queensland Racing Local Rule 76, the Principle Authority prescribes a maximum bet amount, which a Brisbane Racing Club Bookmaker is required to accept and shall offer to accommodate the bettor to at least that amount. ALL RACE MEETINGS (Local & Southern Events) $1000 QUEENSLAND BOOKMAKERS’ ASSOCIATION BONDING SCHEME There shall be no obligation on the Queensland Bookmakers’ Association to honour any guarantees given in accordance with Section 143 of the Racing and Betting Act 1980-87 in respect of any lawful bet made under the Rules of Racing with Bookmakers registered with the Brisbane Racing Club unless the claimant gives the Committee written notification of the non-payment of such bet within thirty days of the making of the said bet. EACH WAY BETTING Bookmakers shall elect before each and every race whether they propose to bet WIN ONLY or EACH WAY. They shall indicate clearly on their board before setting their prices the elected mode of betting. They shall adhere to the elected mode of betting until the conclusion of betting on the said race. Bookmaker may, during the course of accepting bets, then elect - • If accepting “Win Only” bets, to accept “Win & Place” or “Each Way” bets from the time of such election to the cessation of betting on the race. • If accepting “Win & Place or “Each Way” bets, to accept “Win Only” bets from the time of such election to the cessation of betting on the race provided that the bookmaker shall make only one change during the course of accepting bets on the race. OWNERS INFORMATION Post race discussions with jockey and owners First to fifth – in the areas behind the barrier fencing of the place getter stalls Fifth to last – in the birdcage areas outside the jockeys rooms (N.B. only the jockey and trainer are permitted on the horse walkway areas) Dress code Persons attending the Upper and Lower Perch or Mounting Yard must be dressed according to the Members Dress Code for that day. During the race Owners are permitted to watch the race from the Presentation Enclosure but must vacate immediately as the horses pass the post. 4 Safety Information The Brisbane Racing Club is committed to ensuring the health, safety and welfare of employees, contractors and visitors at all times. EMERGENCY RESPONSE In the unlikely event of a major emergency, our Emergency Management Plan will take effect immediately. Patrons in effected areas will be communicated with immediately by either Public Address announcements, the big screen, TV screens, our wardens (BRC staff) or our EWIS siren. Emergency Warning and Intercommunications System (EWIS) ALERT ALARM Sound: ‘Beep… beep… beep.’ Cease all activity Secure all valuable items, if safe to do so Follow warden and staff instructions EVACUATION ALARM Sound: ‘Whoop… whoop… whoop.’ Leave venue via safest exit Proceed to assembly area as advised Do not use lifts during a fire/emergency. INCIDENT REPORTING & CUSTOMER FEEDBACK If you are involved in an incident or near miss or aware of any hazards, please report them to us using an Incident & Hazard Report Form which are available from the Raceday Office. Alternatively, any ideas, suggestions or concerns you have relating to safety can be e-mailed directly to us via admin@brc.com.au FIRST AID We have first aid facilities at all our venues. If you are injured or unwell, please ask our staff for directions to this service or for a first aid officer to be dispatched. SUN EXPOSURE Please remember that a day at the Races may involve significant time under the sun. In order to prevent harmful effects of the sun we suggest that you consider broad brimmed hats, sun screen, long sleeved clothing and sun glasses, utilizing shade and undercover viewing areas and keep hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

When questioned re riding in the home straight, rdr explained his mnt raced ungenerously and laid out through the middle stages. He said upon straightening he initially intended to improve inwards, however then altered course outwards nearing the 300m. He added with his mnt still laying out he persisted for a run but was unable to place it under full pressure anticipating that the run would tighten which ultimately occurred near the 100m, whereby the gelding remained held up and was not able to be fully tested as a result. DOOM 16/05/2026 Sequista From the outside barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages. SCNE 16/05/2026 Sword Of Legacy Began awk and lost ground. Laid in in the early part h/s. Obliged to alter course and shift out after becoming awk placed on heels. Raced in restricted room for a short distance appr the 100m and was obliged to shift out to improve. DOOM 23/05/2026 Shady Road Began only fairly. KENS 27/04/2026 Crash The Party Slow to begin and then inconvenienced by LISTING CAPITAL shortly thereafter. Held up from the 500m until shifting out leaving the 400m. GCST 22/05/2026 Champagne Lane Rdr reported mount proved very disappointing, failed to travel at any stage and may not have appreciated heavy track conditions. A post-race vet exam revealed a slow recovery. Tnr stated though filly had success in a maiden grade on a heavy track, is not suited to rain affected surfaces and it is his intention to continue on with preparation. E FM02/05/2026 Chains Of Love Rdr permitted to ride 0.5kg over allotted weight. SCNE 15/05/2026 Better Not Slip Began awkwardly and shifted in. DOOM 27/05/2026 Race 6 Churchill’s Choice Held up from clear running between the 400m until the 200m. SCNE 15/05/2026 Pinito Laid in for a short distance leaving 200m. DOOM 23/05/2026 Oh Diamond Lil Rdr reported his mnt raced keenly through early & mid stages behind leaders, & when placed under pressure on straightening it gave limited response, & when out of contention he did not test it over the final 150m, & added it may have experienced some respiratory issues & choked down. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Tnr advised in his view the mare is better suited when able to lead at a genuine tempo, rather than settling behind runners, which can result in it overracing. Tnr subsequently reported results of an endoscopic exam revealed no significant findings. HAWK 02/05/2026 Blindedbythelight Rdr rep after beginning only fairly, elected to restrain and take up a position at the rear of the field rather than being trapped wide. DOOM 23/05/2026 Surfin’ Bird A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. SCNE 16/05/2026 Exotique Miss Over-raced for a short distance leaving the 1300m whilst being restrained. Laid out whilst weakening over the concluding stages. E FM25/04/2026 Hyperbolic (NZ) Began awk, shifted in, bumped and lost ground. Laid in on entering the h/s. DOOM 23/05/2026 Kind Words Rdr reported his instructions were to ride the mare in a more forward position and to settle with cover behind the leaders. He said he rode the mare positively in the early stages, however when unable to identify a position where he could obtain cover and avoid racing wide, he allowed it to stride forward to settle outside the leader after passing the 1300m.
