Trainer concurred with the views of rider and further stated that in his opinion the gelding was not suited by racing on the inside section of the track. Rider added that whilst his mount began awkwardly, he asked it to improve in order to obtain a position behind the early leaders, however he was then caught wide and as a result, he allowed Terilee to stride and settle more forward than he had expected. A representative of the stable could offer no explanation for the performance, however indicated that they would consider sending the mare for a spell in the coming days.
