Std in home straight was unsure whether to shift to inside or outside of rnr in advance, which was shifting ground, however when in clear running mount finished off only fairly. Add in hindsight better option was to shift to outside of horses near 600m. Post-race vet exam - no abnormalities. KILM 31/10/2025 Amawasha Eased when tightened for room near the 150m. Rider could offer no explanation for the poor performance. Vet reported no abnormalities. KYNE 18/11/2025 Race 6 AFW Garment & Fabric Suppliers Handicap 1400M Charming Deel Slow to begin. Rider Jamie Mott reported his mount felt uncomfortable in its action. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to be lame in the off foreleg. Rider stated through the early stages he had every intention of crossing to settle outside the leader, however, he was aware Xarpo was over racing and maintaining a position to his inside and therefore did not feel it was safe to cross. Rider acknowledged in hindsight he may have been better served showing more intent from the barriers to settle outside the leader. The horse is barred from racing or trialling until veterinary clearance is provided, including ECG and cardiac assessments. SANH16/07/2025 Lavender Glory Raced keenly in the early stages and approaching the 800m was steadied when awkwardly placed close to heels. Rdr said mount was under pressure from the 800m and in his opinion there may be something amiss. Post race vet exam revealed no abs. Tnr could offer no explanation. Tnr to report back. When questioned rider Celine Gaudray reported that her mount laid out rounding the home turn and when she attempted to resume her position on the rail shortly after straightening, she received a call from apprentice Caitlin Hollowood (Cavity Bay), which had obtained a narrow run to her mount’s inside. Rider could offer no explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities BDGO 29/10/2025 Masterful Raced keenly in the early stages. Rdr said mount overraced and as a result settled more forward. Added as a result mount did not finish race off. CAUL 15/11/2025 Enchanted Jenni (NZ) Laid out under pressure rounding the home turn and in the straight. CAUH19/11/2025 Male Model Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. DON 16/11/2025 Vivacissimo (NZ) Held up from the 500m. Near the 300m was disappointed for clear running. GEEL 14/11/2025 Farewell To Eire (NZ) Steadied when crowded near the 1100m. Rdr said mount was racing with Blinkers on and as it can overrace he was reluctant to make use of horse to hold a more prominent position and as such he allowed runner to shift in advance of horse near the 1100m.
