He said for this reason he eased it down in the home straight. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer advised that the gelding will now be spelled. W FM 30/07/2025 Virgil’s Gift Rdr reported the filly travelled comfortably outside leader throughout the event. Std the filly came under pressure rounding home turn & when commenced to give ground after the 300m she ceased riding it out & when she had some concerns, she eased it down over final 200m. Std did notice the horse to be making an abnormal respiratory noise on pulling up. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Co-tnr was advised a vet clearance, including results of an endoscopic exam, will be required before the filly barrier trials to satisfaction of Stwds prior to being permitted to race again. RAND 20/12/2025 Bode Akuna Began awkwardly. Raced keen in early and middle stages. On straightening had difficulty obtaining clear running until near 250m when able to improve to a narrow run. GEEL 01/04/2026 Tuscany When questioned regarding the gelding leading today, rdr reported that he had been instructed to ride his mount in a neutral manner as it has a tendency to over-race. He said that after beginning well, his mnt improved forward without being pressured and, he allowed his mnt to cross to the rail and obtain the lead. Rider reported that the mare raced too keenly throughout the event, refused to settle and was left without a finishing effort. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities. Tnr rep subsequently reported the gelding was found to have a small amount of blood in its left nostril upon return to the stable. Tnr rep was advised of the provisions of AR79(8). Since passed trial at Rosehill 2/4/26. RAND 24/01/2026 Barazin (IRE) Rdr reported the gelding made an abnormal respiratory noise and she eased it down from the 300m. A post-race vet exam revealed the gelding to have lost its off-hind plate and to be slow to recover. RAND 03/01/2026 Walking Painting (GB) Shifted out on jumping and got its head up when being corrected. W FM 01/04/2026 Bestower (NZ) Passing the winning post on the first occasion laid in and made contact with the running rail. Passing 300m steadied and shifted to outside to continue clear. RAND 20/12/2025 Sosino (IRE) Rdr reported although the gelding was inclined to race keenly in the lead through the early and middle stages, he still felt it was disappointing in the manner in which it weakened in the home straight. Rdr reported when the tempo slackened passing the 900m, his mnt became awkwardly placed on heels and, as a result, was shifted wider before being required to remain racing wide without cover. When questioned re riding in home straight, rdr std rounding home turn he observed a rnr commence to lay out & he had anticipated improving into a run on straightening. He said when attempting to manoeuvre outwards, his mnt became held up from 300m & unable to obtain run, & he remained held up. He added when held up after passing the 200m, he did not feel a run had fully developed to his inside & he was mindful a rnr was shifting slight ground so his main focus was to shift to its outside. W FM 15/04/2026 Unstopabull Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped. Held up from the 400m until near the 200m where it was shifted outwards to secure clear running. HAWK 08/04/2026 Cavity Bay A post-race vet exam at the request of the stable revealed the mare to have a slower than expected recovery. PAKM 13/12/2025 Fingers Hunter Shortly after the start shifted in and bumped before being shifted behind runners from a wide barrier.
