4 HOUSE POLICY 1st January 2026 - 31st December 2026 The Scone Race Club, in the interests of its patrons and the community, promotes the responsible service of alcohol. This policy outlines a code of conduct that we ask all patrons to abide by. It is designed to enable all our patrons to relax in the atmosphere of Scone Race Club without infringing upon each other’s, or the community’s, enjoyment. Responsible Service of Alcohol All staff are trained in RSA. A register and copy of Staff RSA certificates are kept by Management. Management support staff who practice and enforce RSA. A key register is kept of all RSA incidents and relevant action taken. Minors Minors under the ages of 18 are welcome on the premises under the supervision of a responsible adult or guardian. Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the immediate vicinity of any bar or betting area on the premises. All patrons are required to provide acceptable evidence of age where there is any suspicion they are underage. Individuals procuring drinks for minors will be removed from the premises. Unduly Intoxicated and Disorderly Patrons All staff are trained to identify signs of undue intoxication. Unduly intoxicated patrons will not be served and will be asked to leave the premises. Management support staff who do not serve unduly intoxicated patrons. Management and staff encourage safe transport options and are happy to call a taxi for intoxicated patrons. Management seeks to meet its duty of care obligations to all patrons. Drugs Prohibited drugs will not be tolerated on the premises. Patrons under the influence of prohibited drugs are not welcome and will be asked to leave the premises. Responsible Hospitality Practices Management commit to providing free water to all patrons. We commit to providing non-alcoholic and low alcoholic content drinks. We encourage patrons to monitor and control their consumption of alcohol. We will serve half measured spirits if requested.
