K GR 10/10/2026 Royal Corporal Got its head up and over-raced in the early and middle stages HAWK 15/10/2026 Siragusa Rdr reported whilst he was instructed to ride the horse positively in the early stages, he did not anticipate leading. He said with winkers applied, his mnt would not settle through the early and middle stages and consequently failed to close off in the home straight. He said that he advised connections that the gelding was not suited by leading and would be better ridden with cover. RHIL 14/10/2026 Hellenic Belle When questioned, rdr stated it was his intention to settle in a prominent position, however after beginning awkwardly from the inside barrier and due to the strong tempo being set in the early part of the race, his mnt was quickly crossed by runners near the 1000m and settled further back than he would have preferred. He added the filly was then held up for clear running from the 400m and did not obtain completely clear running until after passing the 200m, whereby it finished off the race well.
