A post-race vet exam revealed the filly to be lame (1/5) in the off-foreleg. Tnr rep was advised a vet clearance will be required prior to next race/trial. Vet clearance since received. K GR 21/03/2026 Hellabella Rdr reported that the filly raced too keenly through the early and middle stages and consequently weakened in the home straight. Std the filly performed as though it had come to the end of its preparation. A post-race vet exam of the filly revealed no significant abnormalities. Rdr could not offer any explanation for the gelding failing to let down when under pressure in the straight. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Tnr advised the gelding will be subject to a full vet exam. Notwithstanding this advice, tnr was told the gelding must barrier trial prior to racing again. Tnr subsequently reported the gelding underwent scintigraphy and x-rays which revealed a small tear in the gluteal muscles and it will now be spelled.
