66 The Hawkesbury Crown was first run in 2006. The race is run under set weight and penalty conditions over 1300m for fillies and mares. The Hawkesbury Crown became a Listed race in 2011 and was promoted to Group 3 in 2014. Significant winners include 2x Group 1 winner Shillelagh (2017) and dual winner of the race; Aerobatics (2013 & 2014). November Flight won the Hawkesbury Crown in 2007 and is the most recent Hawkesbury trained horse to win the race. She was trained by Garry White and ridden by leading NSW apprentice Tye Angland. Tye was apprentice to Hawkesbury trainer Garry Frazer at the time. Sung trained by Peter Snowden holds the race record at 1:15.20 (2008).
