20 MOMENT OF THE DAY Through World Pool as a pari-mutuel product, we aim to contribute more to grassroots racing. World Pool meetings generate additional income streams to the key stakeholders, including stable staff. Since 2022, a World Pool Moment of the Day has been awarded at selected World Pool Days, where an outstanding performance or human-interest story, with one lucky groom winning AUD$8,000. Each World Pool Moment of the Day winner is shortlisted and then voted on by the public in mid November to determine the World Pool Moment of the Year, with the winner receiving a VIP trip for four to any World Pool meetings in 2026.
