Whilst it was anticipated that the gelding would take up a prominent position in keeping with its racing pattern, app rdr was told that after losing ground at the start, rather than allowing her mount to stride forward in the middle stages where it became trapped very wide and endured a tough run, she should have instead ridden her mount conservatively back in the field which would have afforded her mount a better opportunity to finish off its race.
