2 Useful Information Members Tipping Competition Take part in the tipping competition at each of the Club’s 25 race meetings. The tipping competition is only open to Members. A minimum of $250 food & beverage credit will be won each meeting with a 20% bonus to any winner (s) who are on-course and have swiped their members’ badge at a Thoroughbred Park terminal on the day. Members select a runner in each race, with a 3-2-1 points system to determine the winner (s) each meeting. Any Member who can correctly select the last 6 winners on the program will recieve a free $1,000 bet on the following TAB Federal. Full terms and conditions are available on the website. Children under the age of 18 Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times within Thoroughbred Park. Unaccompanied children under the age of 18 years will not be admitted entry. Photography Any photographs or digital material taken on behalf of the Canberra Racing Club at Thoroughbred Park in respect to races or any promotional events or persons, remain the property of the Canberra Racing Club and may be used at their discretion. 3 Emergency Procedures at Thoroughbred Park You should take your immediate effects and proceed quickly (do not run). In the event of an emergency, please remember: 1. Listen carefully to the public address system, 2. Follow the directions of the Wardens and staff, 3. Move quickly to the designated Safe Assembly Areas. The safety of all who attend Race meetings and functions at Thoroughbred Park is of paramount importance. Canberra Racing Club staff are trained to effectively manage any emergency should one arise. Should an emergency situation occur, the course broadcaster will sound the alert over the public address system and issue instructions to all patrons. On hearing the instructions; patrons are requested to remain calm and prepare to follow further instructions from the Emergency Wardens. Emergency Wardens will be easily identifiable as they will be wearing coloured helmets. Mobility impaired patrons, including hearing and sight impaired, should make contact with an Emergency Warden as they may need a “buddy” to assist them. On hearing the evacuation instruction, the Wardens will usher you to the safe assembly areas, so it is essential that you follow their instructions. Unless you are instructed otherwise, the safe assembly areas are as shown below. Safe Assembly Areas A The grassed area inside the main entrance behind the public toilets. B In front of the storage sheds C The course proper (grass track) in front of the saddling enclosure. Accessed through the saddling enclosure. D For horse stall patrons, the area formerly known as the jockeys car park, which is at the back of the stalls but down next to (but not on) the course proper.

SAPH 08/06/2025 Your Magic Rider was permitted to ride his mount 1/2kg overweight in accordance with the overweight policy. SAPH 29/12/2024 Brutal Belle Near the 1200m had to be eased when racing in restricted room. TAR09/02/2025 Bubble Tea Raced three-wide and without cover throughout the event. QBYN 12/04/2025 Airfield Raced wide and without cover throughout the event. Was carried wider rounding the home-turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. NARR 14/06/2025 Racy Time Slow to begin. Raced keenly in the early and middle stages. HAWK 17/06/2025 Race 2 HOPS & HOOVES FESTIVAL SATURDAY 27 SEPTEMBER HANDICAP 1080M Zambezi River Began awkwardly. When questioned regarding settling further forward, rider stated that he was instructed to pressure his mount out as it does have a tenancy to be slow out of the barriers. He added that his mount began well today which allowed to settle in a more prominent position. ACT20/06/2025 Champagne In Lace Raced very wide in the early stages. CANB 06/09/2024 Anthracia Checked near 200m.ACT23/05/2025 Greatestofease Approaching the 1300m commenced to race keenly when awkwardly placed on heels when the tempo of the race slackened. NARR14/06/2025 Jacob Joe Approaching the 400m was placed in restricted room and had to be restrained from heels. QBYN 21/06/2025 Don’t Thinkaboutit Raced keenly in the early stages. ACT20/06/2025 Darken Rider was reminded of her obligations to ride her mount out right to the finish. MRYA27/06/2025 Zeema Raced keenly in the early stages. K GR 21/06/2025 Race 4 TERRACON WILLS & A-STAKES HANDICAP 1750M Final Comment Bounded on jumping. CANB 09/05/2025 Skiing Passing the 600m was bumped. Raced three wide and without cover for the majority of the race. NCLE 28/06/2025 Philadelphia Storm Laid out whilst under pressure in the home straight. ALB16/06/2025 Straight Fire Underwent a pre-race veterinary examination after becoming fractious in the barriers and was passed fit to start. BATH 19/06/2025 Avonview Rider was permitted to ride 0.5kg over the allotted weight of 57.5kg. WAGG 22/06/2025 Taumata (NZ) When questioned regarding the performance, rider stated that his mount travelled well throughout the event although failed to respond in the home straight. In his opinion his mount failed to handle the Soft (7) conditions. WAGG 22/06/2025 Devine Outcast COT: Option to be ridden further forward; settled at rear. K GR 21/06/2025 Chebici A Post-race veterinary examination found the mare to be slow to recover BATH 19/06/2025 Goodnight Barlow (NZ) Rider was permitted to ride his mount 1kg overweight in accordance with the policy. Change of tactics: To be ridden further forward. Settled; lead. QBYN 21/06/2025 Race 5 TAB FEDERAL 1080M Craving Magic Was held up for clear running rounding the home turn and was unable to obtain completely clear running until passing the 150m. ACT20/06/2025 Ringarosa Blundered on jumping and shortly after was bumped. CANT 20/11/2024 Major Time Rider reported that his mount did not handle todays Soft (7) conditions. A postrace veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. WAGG 22/06/2025 Chop The Ice Rider was permitted to ride 1kg overweight in accordance with the policy. Became unbalanced at the start after being bumped on the hindquarters by another rnrs. ACT06/06/2025 Vella Magic Raced three-wide and without cover throughout the event. ACT20/06/2025 Ferrari Girl Passing the 200m became unbalanced when contacted on the hindquarters by another rnr.ACT06/06/2025 Cyclone Rupert when questioned, rdr stated he was asked to ride the gelding where comfortable however, after jumping well he took advantage of this and rather than be caught wide allowed the horse to stride forward into the lead. BATH 19/06/2025 Cold Mist When caught very wide in the early stages allowed to stride forward to share lead. Raced three-wide throughout. ACT 06/06/2025 Pancake Pete Upon jumping away shifted in and bumped another runner BATH 19/06/2025 Tendi Bumped with rnr on jumping. ACT20/06/2025 Mackinaw Peach From the outside barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages. A short distance after the start had to be steadied from heels. K GR 21/06/2025 Miss Firestar After being fractious in the barriers, began awkwardly. GOSF 19/06/2025 Wire To Wire Overraced in the early and middle stages. Rdr reported his mount raced keenly in the early stages and, as a result, he was unable to restrain the colt to obtain a position with cover and consequently his mnt raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. He added that when he placed his mount under pressure in the home straight the colt was disappointing in the manner in which it responded to his riding. A post-race vet exam did not reveal any abs. NCLE 07/06/2025 Iconique Began awkwardly. Near the 800m was obliged to be steadied when awkwardly placed inside another runner. A Post-race veterinary examination found the gelding to be displaying Cardiac arrhythmia for the first time. Trainer was advised the gelding would now be subject to the provisions of AR88 MDGE 11/05/2025 Oh Kelly Began awkwardly and bumped rnr. ACT20/06/2025 Race 7 WILLINGA PARK VET HOSPITAL HANDICAP 1280M London Boy Raced three-wide and without cover throughout the event. ACT20/06/2025 Missy No Nay Bumped with a runner on jumping. Raced three-wide and without cover throughout the event. ALB16/06/2025 Angel In The Wind Rdr reported that the mare travelled comfortably in the early and middle stages, however, due to the moderate early sectionals, was not suited when the race developed into a sprint home and, as a result, his mnt was left flat footed and ran to the line one-paced in the home straight. A post-race vet exam reported no abs. WYNG 27/02/2025 Rippana Had some difficulty pulling his whip through when racing in close proximity to a runner and contacted that runner on two occasion near the 200m and just after the 200m. On return to scale, rider reported that his mount raced flat today and did not respond as well as he had expected when placed under pressure in the straight. Trainer advised that in his view the mare may not have been comfortable on the heavy track and said that the mare would now be given a let up prior to reassessing its immediate racing plans. SAPH 04/04/2025 Give Me Joy Began awkwardly and bumped rnr. GOUL 13/06/2025 Christmas Star Began awkwardly. WAGG 22/06/2025 Jazz All Knight Raced three-wide throughout. ACT06/06/2025 Burrowa Change of tactics to be ridden forward; Slow to begin (2L), ridden along in early stages to take up trailing position midfield. When questioned regarding the performance rdr stated that after beginning slowly she had to make use of the gelding in the early stages to obtain a position midfield. She added that she felt the gelding didn’t appreciate the shifty track conditions as well and that both these factors contributed to her mount not finishing off as expected. WOD 24/05/2025 Super Riff When questioned regarding her riding in the early stages of the home straight, apprentice rdr reported that she was held up for clear running rounding the home turn when straightening she was positioned awkwardly to the inside of rnrs heels causing her to be held up for some time thereafter before shifting out to continue into clear running passing the 250m.
