Raced keenly throughout the early and middle stages of the event and passing the 800m had to be steadied when improving onto the heels of a runner when the tempo of the race slackened. After being replated, underwent a pre-race veterinary examination and was passed fit to start by the veterinary officer. WAGG 28/09/2026 Scorched Lane Near the 1200m had to be steadied and directed to the outside of another runner, which shifted in when not quite clear. However, when unable to assume the lead the rider was required to come off that another runner’s heels, from that point gelding raced one-paced throughout the event and was left without a finishing effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. COR 14/09/2026 Zippy Lion Shifted out and made contact with another runner. MRYA 15/09/2026 Alabama Charm Slow to begin.
