12 Stewards Report Race 1 KIA ORA BLOODLINES TO HEADLINES HANDICAP 1200M Nations League Shifted out on jumping. Rdr reported the colt never travelled and was under pressure through the middle stages to maintain its position, and it was disappointing in the manner in which it finished the race off. A post-race vet exam revealed the colt to be displaying cardiac arrhythmia for the first time. Tnr rep was advised of the provisions of the RA Code of Practice under AR88B(2)(b). Vet clearance since received. RAND 27/12/2025 Too Hot To Handle Bumped on jumping. Entering the home straight, shifted to the outside of rnr to secure clear running. When questioned, rdr explained after laying in rounding the home turn and in the early part of the home straight, near the 200m the gelding shifted out abruptly after being struck with the whip and had to be corrected. Std given the gelding’s racing manners up until that point and that it gave her the impression it was inclined to continue to shift ground mnt went to the line untested. Tnr advised the gelding would be required to barrier trial before being permitted to race again. GOSF 14/03/2026 Peyton Shortly after the start was hampered when forced wider. A post-race vet exam revealed the colt to be slow to recover. KENS 25/03/2026 Race 2 HYLAND RACE COLOURS HANDICAP 1200M Bangkok Hottie From a wide barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages. RAND 04/04/2026 Mille Feuille Soon after the start was bumped. NCLE31/03/2026 Dynamic Diva Near the 700m made contact with the running rail. RHIL 29/11/2025 Race 3 SCHWEPPES HANDICAP 1600M Freddie Bassett Began awkwardly and shortly after was hampered by another rnr which shifted out. Near the 150m was bumped by another rnr, which shifted out slightly. WYNG 28/03/2026 Above The Law Shortly after start unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarter. HAWK 17/03/2026 Love ‘N’ Glory Restrained early from wide barrier. Laid in under pressure in straight.BDGO 27/03/2026 Sarapo (GB) Underwent a pre-race vet exam after becoming fractious and lifting its off-hind leg up on the running board for a short period of time and was deemed to race.
