Trainer was told that the filly would be required to barrier trial to the Steward’s satisfaction prior to being permitted to race again. Passing the 100m made contact with another runner due to both runners shifting ground. CANB 09/05/2025 Cinsault Raced keenly in the early stages and raced wide and without cover throughout the event. Near the 50m shifted out and made contact with another rnr.WYNG 17/04/2025 Celerity Rdr std after arriving behind barriers his mnt was agitated & after being loaded into barrier was restless & reared on a couple of occasions, & consequently began awkwardly & lost ground. Std after riding mnt along in early stages he was quickly crossed, & near the 800m, when race tempo slackened, he was shuffled back towards rear of field near the 600m. Std when rounding h/turn he was held up from the 500m until near the 300m whereby he shifted out across heels to secure clear running. When questioned regarding the gelding taking up a much more forward position today, rider advised that he was given specific instructions to attempt to take up a forward position and despite the gelding being a little slow to begin, he made use of his mount in the early stages to press forward and was ultimately able to take up a position outside the leader. Whilst noting the gelding was up in distance, trainer was nevertheless reminded of his obligation to notify any change of tactics. ACT 23/05/2025 Canara Raced wide and without cover from the 1200m. WYNG 08/05/2025 Demarcay (GB) Underwent a pre-race vet exam after being loaded into the barriers lunged forward and hit the front gates slightly, and was passed suitable to race. W FM 21/05/2025 Mia Ballerina Rdr reported that other than being wayward when placed under pressure in the home straight, he could offer no explanation for the filly’s poor performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be slow to recover. W FM 07/05/2025 Berezka Began only fairly. Rdr reported that the filly failed to handle the heavy track conditions. A post-race vet exam of the filly did not reveal any abnormalities. K GR06/05/2025 The Unique Star Began awkwardly. SAPH 18/05/2025 Fly Scotty Fly After beginning awkwardly was then crowded. Approaching the 300m had to be corrected after shifting out and making contact with another runner. RHIL 18/01/2025 Pierolite Began only fairly. W FM 21/05/2025 Beer Baron Keen early & mid stages, passing 1000m settled outside lead. CANB 09/03/2025 Manaajem Near the 900m had to be steadied off heels. When questioned, rdr stated his mnt blundered on jumping. He said near the 900m, after being steadied off heels and then making slight contact with another rnr, his mnt raced keenly. He added when rounding the home turn his mnt travelled strongly into the race, however when asked for an effort it did not quicken as expected and was inclined to lay in. A post-race vet exam revealed the filly to be lame (2/5) in the near-foreleg. Tnr rep was told a vet clearance required prior to next race/trial. Vet clearance received. KENS 15/01/2025 Night Sky Slow to begin. Rdr reported the filly raced too keen in early & middle stages and, as a result, left without a finishing effort, & wasn’t entirely comfortable on the heavy track. A post-race vet exam revealed the filly to be slow to recover. WYNG 01/05/2025 Faceoff Passing the 100m made contact with another runner due to both runners shifting ground. CANB 09/05/2025 Our Little Star When qst re riding, rdr std instructed to ride mnt conservatively & save it for one last run, same as last start. Std after settling behind midfield he obtained a position trailing fav rnr round h/turn. Std whilst a run was available inside that rnr early in home straight, having regard to instructions he did not want to ride for this position & also horses were shifting outwards in straight to make runs wider on track, so he remained in trailing position until near the 200m where he shifted outwards & once clear his mnt responded to riding, but its run ended over final 50m. GOSF 10/05/2025 Bat Out Of Hell Began awkwardly, shifted out and bumped. CANT 20/12/2024 Mogwai Rdr reported he had hoped to lead, however the gelding didn’t show speed to do so. He stated that his mnt travelled fairly during the race and although held up for clear running in the early part of the home straight it did not let down as he expected it would once into clear running near the 200m. 17 PoLicy The Australian Turf Club is committed to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) across all our venues and endeavours to comply at all times with all the requirements of the NSW Liquor Act 2007. The Club is an active member of a number of Local Liquor Accords including the Eastern Beaches Liquor Accord and also the Rosehill and Liverpool Liquor Accords. The Australian Turf Club has adopted the following House Policy, which provides a framework for the Responsible Service of Alcohol. aLcoHoL coNSUmPTioN Patrons who are intoxicated or approaching intoxication will be refused admission to our venues. Patrons who are observed drinking upon approach to one of our venues will be refused entry. Appropriate and compliant signage will be displayed at all entry points. Patrons on board “Party Buses’, Limousines or Hire Cars with alcohol present will have their intoxication levels assessed by Security and risk refusal of entry to the venue. Any patron refused service by bar staff or identified by Security as approaching intoxication will be asked to leave the venue immediately as per Section 77 of the NSW Liquor Act 2007 UNDEr aGE DriNkiNG The Australian Turf Club recognises the following fonns of identification: • A driver’s or rider’s licence or permit (issued by an Australian State or Territory or any foreign country) • Australian passport or a foreign passport issued by another country, • NSW photo card (issued by Roads and Maritime Services NSW) • Proof of age card issued by a public authority of the Commonwealth or of another State or Territory for the purpose of attesting to a person’s identity and age • Keypass (over-18) identity card issued by Australia Post. Patrons who appear to be aged 25 years or under may be asked for identification at any time by Security, Police or an ATC staff member. If identification is unable to, or refused to be produced that patron will be asked to leave the venue. Any minor found in close proximity to or using alcohol or gaming outlets will be asked to leave the venue. 18 (1) At a race meeting within the metropolitan area, a bookmaker is obliged to lay the odds displayed if demanded by the backer, except that the bookmaker is not compelled to lose on any one bet more than the amount Racing NSW may determine and publish as the minimum bet list entttled “Betting limits for on-course Bookmakers to comply with BR13”, as published on tts webstte and amended from time to time. (2) When the backer claims the bookmaker for a win and place bet which is greater than the limits prescribed by this rule, the bookmaker must bet the backer the proportional equivalent of an each-way wager. (3) At a race meeting outside the metropolitan area or at an audttorium or betting office, the committee of a club may from time to time determine the minimum wager which bookmakers must be bound to lay when betting on any part of the club’s premises. (4) Once a race has started, a bookmaker is not compelled to accept any bet or, alternatively, is not compelled to bet the minimum limits prescribed in this rule. 19 Children are welcome at all race meetings held at Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, Canterbury Park and Warwick Farm. On many weekend race meetings there is free children’s entertainment available. Children in the general admission area should be under the company of a responsible adult at all times. Children entering the Members’ Enclosure must be in the company of a responsible adult at all times and must be suitably attired. There are no restricted areas within the racecourse (except for ‘Members’ Only Areas’) however patrons under the age of 18 years of age (minors) are not permitted entry to the racecourse unless accompanied by their Legal Guardian or Loco Parentis. (Responsible adult). This can be in the form of: • A parent, step-parent or guardian of the minor • A person who is, for time being, in loco parentis to the minor. This person must be 25 years of age or older and be able to verify to the satisfaction of the ATC their relationship to the minor Definition of In Loco Parentis. The term “Loco Parentis” describes a relationship similar to that of a parent to a child; specifically it refers to an individual who assumes parental status and responsibilities for another individual, usually a young person, without formally adopting that person. Any minor found in close proximity to or using alcohol or gaming outlets will be asked to leave the venue. The person identified as being responsible for the minor (as per the NSW Liquor Act 2007 in relation to Responsible Adults) will also be asked to leave the venue. Prosecution by the NSW Police is also an option. LIQUoR LICENsING REGULATIoNs sMILE - yoU’RE oN CCTV Members and their guests must observe the Liquor Licensing Regulations in place at the Australian Turf Club.
