10 The Warrnambool Racing Club will award an annual trophy named in the honour of former life member Alec Calvert. The ‘Alec Calvert Memorial Trophy’ will be awarded to the leading jumps jockey of the 2025 TAB May Racing Carnival. The trophy will be based on the following points system for each individual jumps race conducted throughout the event. ( ) 1941-2007 ALEXANDER NEIL CALVERT FIRST SECOND THIRD 5 POINTS 3 POINTS 2 POINTS *** Dead heats shall count as half points *** The Calvert family will donate a perpetual trophy to be inscribed with the winners’ details annually. The Stump will donate $1,000 in cash to the winner.
