Rdr reported he was advised to ride his mnt more conservatively & to attempt to obtain cover as it overraced last start with blinkers on. He said, however, after beginning well as he could not identify a position where he would be able to obtain cover, he allowed his mnt to improve forward to race outside the leader. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities.
