He added when this rnr then lost its position midrace, this resulted in his mnt being required to race further back in the field than was intended. Rounding the home turn, when giving ground, was hampered and carried wider. CANT 29/11/2024 Piggyback Approaching the 600m, when endeavouring to shift outwards, became awkward on heels. A post-race vet exam revealed the filly to have sustained an abrasion to the near-fore heel. RAND 08/06/2024 Edmond Rdr reported that the gelding did not handle the Heavy track conditions. RHIL09/11/2024 Bluff ‘N’ Bluster From a wide barrier was shifted behind runners in the early stages. Rdr reported that in the initial stages, despite his efforts, his mnt failed to show any early speed and, as a result, he settled a few lengths further back from the second last horse than he would have preferred. He said near the 800m he was able to be closer, whereby mnt commenced to travel comfortably. WYNG 09/11/2024 Race 6 TAB HANDICAP 1600M Happy Saturday (IRE) Began awkwardly, shifted out and made heavy contact with another runner. WYNG 11/12/2024 La Vesuvius Near the1400m was eased when awkwardly placed inside the heels of another runner which shifted in marginally. Near the 1300m commenced to race keenly whilst being restrained when the tempo slackened. TAMW 26/11/2024 Malabar Near the 300m, when maintaining a tight line to the outside of another runner, became momentarily unbalanced after being bumped on the hindquarter. CANT 18/09/2024 Pretty Tavi (NZ) From outside barrier shifted behind runners in the early stages. RHIL09/11/2024 Smart Legend COT: To be ridden more forward; settled on pace. Rdr advised that, as instructed, he endeavoured to find a prominent position with cover, however his mnt was required to work hard racing three wide and without cover and, as a consequence, compounded in the home straight.
