DOOM 30/11/2024 Pratt Rdr reported he anticipated settling in the lead, however after beginning only fairly he was obliged to settle behind the leaders racing amongst horses and wide and without cover. He said the gelding did not appreciate racing in this position amongst horses in the early and middle stages and, in his opinion, would be better suited by dictating terms when settling in the lead. RHIL 05/07/2025 Indefensible Rdr reported that when the pace of the race slowed near the 800m the mare commenced to race keenly and was required to shift out to avoid heels. He added that when forced to race wide and without cover from that point the mare was unable to gather momentum and was one paced to the line. A post-race vet exam revealed a slow recovery. CANT 19/11/2025 Pewter Pearl Raced keenly in the middle stages and passing the 600m was steadied from heels. A postrace veterinary examination of the filly did not reveal any abnormalities. Rdr reported in his opinion the gelding did not handle the rain affected track. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. 17 POLiCY The Australian Turf Club is committed to Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) across all our venues and endeavours to comply at all times with all the requirements of the NSW Liquor Act 2007. The Club is an active member of a number of Local Liquor Accords including the Eastern Beaches Liquor Accord and also the Rosehill and Liverpool Liquor Accords. 19 Children are welcome at all race meetings held at Royal Randwick, Rosehill Gardens, Canterbury Park and Warwick Farm. On many weekend race meetings there is free children’s entertainment available. Children in the general admission area should be under the company of a responsible adult at all times. Children entering the Members’ Enclosure must be in the company of a responsible adult at all times and must be suitably attired. There are no restricted areas within the racecourse (except for ‘Members’ Only Areas’) however patrons under the age of 18 years of age (minors) are not permitted entry to the racecourse unless accompanied by their Legal Guardian or Loco Parentis. (Responsible adult). This can be in the form of: • A parent, step-parent or guardian of the minor • A person who is, for time being, in loco parentis to the minor. This person must be 25 years of age or older and be able to verify to the satisfaction of the ATC their relationship to the minor Definition of In Loco Parentis. The term “Loco Parentis” describes a relationship similar to that of a parent to a child; specifically it refers to an individual who assumes parental status and responsibilities for another individual, usually a young person, without formally adopting that person.
