2 ON COURSE HORSE POLICY The Warrnambool Racing Club has an ‘On Course Horse Movement Policy’ in place to ensure the Club meets it OH&S responsibilities in relation to horse movement areas on course. The policy details all horse movement areas and provides details on the limited access to those areas. Specific changes have been made limiting access to the Mounting Yard, Birdcage, Horse Stall and Parade Ring. Mounting Yard - Refers to the enclosed area where the horses are paraded prior to racing and where jockeys mount and dismount their rides. Access to this area is restricted to authorised officials, trainers, jockeys and strappers only Mounting Yard viewing area - Restricted access by ticketing only to this area adjacent to the Mounting Yard Birdcage, Horse Stall and Parade Ring - Restricted to authorised officials, trainers, jockeys and strappers only. Access to aforementioned areas will only be granted with correct ticketing Behaves in a provocative, disorderly, insulting, offensive, objectionable or unsafe manner; Engages or participates in any conduct, protest or demonstration that may disturb or offend others or which may disrupt or hinder proceedings; Enters the course proper, parade rings, stables or area for the movement of horses without authorisation; or Fails to immediately follow the direction of any official or Racing Victoria Steward CONDITIONS OF ENTRY & REMOVAL FROM THE RACECOURSE Any person who will be liable to immediate removal from the racecourse at the direction of the Warrnambool Racing Club or Racing Victoria Stewards. A person may only take images of activities at the racecourse for personal use only and must not make available any images for commercial exploitation, sale or distribution by any person unless accredited by RVL. Where the Warrnambool Racing Club or Racing Victoria Stewards reasonably suspect that images are being taken for non-personal use, the person taking the images will be liable to immediate removal from the racecourse at the direction of the Warrnambool Racing Club or Racing Victoria Stewards.
