WELCOME TO THE PENULTIMATE LADBROKES FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS MEETING OF THE 2024/25 SEASON. Tonight’s feature is the Listed Lawn Rules Abell Stakes (1200m), honouring Don Abell, who served as the 10th Chairman of the Moonee Valley Racing Club from 2002 to 2007. With a chance to secure black-type, it promises to be a competitive contest. This evening, the Club launches a silent auction featuring a collection of its furnishing artwork. The auction will run across the next three race meetings, concluding on 3 Point Motors William Reid Stakes Day. The artwork is on display tonight in the Inner Circle (Level 3, grandstand) from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Our Cheering For Charity partner is Team Taylor Foundation, as we look to make it back-to-back wins following Howlin’ Rain‘s success last week.
