Moonee Valley Racing Club respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respects to its Elders past, present and emerging. It’s our first Saturday meeting since Ladbrokes Cox Plate Day and we’re set for a terrific afternoon of racing and family-fun activities. For our youngest racing fans, head to Candy Cane Lane on the Burston Lawn, with a special visit from Santa. There will be plenty of activities for children, including face-painting, balloon artists, and a chance to meet our Junior Jocks mascot, Crossword the Shetland Pony. Junior Jocks is our membership for children (under 12), and it’s free to join! On the track, we’ve got a big 10-race card on what looks a very competitive day. I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and I look forward to seeing you back at The Valley next Saturday for the final Victorian metro meeting of 2023.
