GWENDA FITZGERALD MOONEE VALLEY LIFE MEMBER Inductee The Moonee Valley Racing Club is honoured to award Life Membership to Gwenda Fitzgerald. Gwenda is one of our first three long-serving female financial members to be inducted as a Life Member in a historic occasion for the Club. Gwenda has shared some of her favourite memories at The Valley. “The Valley is special as it is a smaller and more intimate course and it is close to my home, part of my local community. It is also special to me as my husband and I came together, we shared many happy times at The Valley. Over the years I have attended all but a couple of Cox Plates. The one that stands out is the 1986 Bonecrusher and Our Waverley Star race down the straight and the iconic call by the late Bill Collins.”
