The Valley

We’ve got a fantastic field for our first Group 1 of the season, with a mixture of established sprint stars and exciting three-year-olds lining up in the $750,000 Charter Keck Cramer Moir Stakes. Other features on today’s card include the Musk Creek Farm Atlantic Jewel Stakes, McMahon’s Dairy McKenzie Stakes and Off The Track Chautauqua Stakes, all at Listed level. We also have the inaugural running of the Rexel Electrical Supplies So You Think Stakes, named in honour of the two-time W.S. Cox Plate winner and Australian and New Zealand Hall Of Famer. It’s a privilege to officially launch our Cox Plate Carnival Charity Pin for 2024 with Myeloma Australia, our charity pin partner for the next three years. Myeloma Australia supports, educates, informs, empowers, and brings hope to people living with myeloma and their loved ones. Myeloma is a type of blood cancer and there are currently 22,000 people living with the condition in Australia today. I encourage everyone to support Myeloma Australia by purchasing a charity pin, available on course and online at thevalley.com.au. Also, keep an eye out for fundraising initiatives throughout the spring to raise awareness and funds for this great cause. Enjoy your day on track, and I look forward to seeing you again on 27 September as racing returns under lights for Ladbrokes Manikato Stakes Night. CHAIR ADAM LENNEN CHAIR’S WELCOME WELCOME TO THE VALLEY AS WE LAUNCH OUR SPRING RACING CARNIVAL WITH GROUP 1 CHARTER KECK CRAMER MOIR STAKES DAY.
