Moonee Valley Racing Club respectfully acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of this land, the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, and pay our respects to its Elders past, present and emerging. LADBROKES FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS AT THE VALLEY PROMISES TO BE A TRULY SPECIAL EVENING AS THE ICONIC VENUE BATHES IN PINK TO SHOW ITS UNWAVERING SUPPORT FOR BREAST CANCER NETWORK AUSTRALIA. This event aims to not only raise crucial funds but also to spread awareness about BCNA's vital mission, which is dedicated to improving the journey of all Australians affected by breast cancer. The Club takes immense pride in its role as a supporter of BCNA's fundraising efforts. BCNA are also the charity partner this week for Cheering For Charity. The initiative got off to a great start thanks to Imperatriz, who topped the voting last week to carry the Cheering For Charity saddlecloth, with her victory resulting in a $2000 donation to Make-A-Wish Australia thanks to our Principal Parter Ladbrokes. It was a fantastic meeting last week to launch the Ladbrokes Friday Night Lights racing season, where we had the privilege of witnessing amazing performances by star gallopers Imperatriz and Amelia’s Jewel, with the pair setting new track records. Both are on track to be major contenders during the Ladbrokes Cox Plate Carnival. The anticipation is steadily building for what promises to be the most exhilarating 24 hours of racing action and entertainment. Mark your calendars for Ladbrokes Cox Plate Eve on October 27, our next race meeting at The Valley. We hope you enjoy the build-up and associated events, and we look forward to welcoming you on course for the 2023 Ladbrokes Cox Plate Carnival. CHAIR ADAM LENNEN CHAIR’S WELCOME
