CHAIR ADAM LENNEN CHAIR’S WELCOME WELCOME TO LADBROKES FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS AT SOUTHSIDE CRANBOURNE. Tonight we host Heat 4 of the Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge, with a new benchmark now set. Sharing Moments for Scott Cameron leads Series 2 after stopping the clock at 55.56 last Friday night. The program also features heats of both the Summer Sprint Series and the Middle Distance Series, promising another exciting night of racing. We are proud to welcome Legacy as our Charity Partner this evening. Legacy does outstanding work supporting the families of our veterans, and should the runner wearing the Cheering For Charity saddlecloth be successful tonight, Legacy will receive $2,000 courtesy of our Principal Partner, Ladbrokes. Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of inducting our new MVRC Life Members following last year’s AGM decision to reduce the qualifying period from 50 years to 40. Congratulations to those newly recognised, and sincere thanks to all our Life Members for their loyalty, commitment, and enduring contribution. Our members truly are the lifeblood of our Club.
