32 21.11.48 - 23.4.15 A well-known business man in Bendigo having owned & operated a n earthmoving business for 40 years as well as farming beef cattle. In the early days he was a tomato producer and would sell to the Melbourne Market. A life member of the CFA, he was Captain of the Sedgwick Fire Brigade for 35 years. A one eyed Essendon supporter he was an Essendonian and a long-time member of the Bendigo Jockey Club. He loved racing and having a punt.
