1 Chairman’s Welcome With restrictions and bubbles (hopefully!) now consigned to the past, I am delighted that from this Friday patrons will be allowed to visit the horse stalls and mounting yard, and owners can choose to watch their race in the placegetters area. Winning owners will also receive a Winning Pin back in the Winning Owners’ Bar with a complimentary drink! We saw some terrific performances on track last Friday night, and the quality racing continues this week with another fantastic eight-race card. Heat six of the Ladbrokes 55 Second Challenge is for the fillies and mares – and the sparks will be flying with the likes of speedsters Award Winner and See You In Spring taking their place in the race. Let’s give in-form juvenile Fighting Arrow a cheer in race one as it carries the $500 Ladbrokes win bet for our #CheeringForCharity partner Living Legends over 2040m. And in race seven, The Awesome Son – brother to star colt The Autumn Sun – will be aiming to make it back-to-back victories at The Valley as he goes around in the TOTE Bar & Dining Handicap over 2040m.
