49 SCARBOROUGH STAKES The Club recognises former Chairman of the Moonee Valley Racing Club, Bob Scarborough, by naming the first black type race of the Night Racing Season in his honour. During his tenure, Bob was the driving force behind the revamp of Friday night racing at The Valley. Bob served on the Committee for 15 years including eight years as Chairman.
