43 STUTT STAKES Named in honour of the late Bill Stutt and in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the Club during 29 years of tenure on the Committee. He was particularly renowned for his effort in making the W.S. Cox Plate the great race it is today – The Race Where Legends Are Made. During his tenure, Bill also made an outstanding contribution to the broader Racing & Breeding Industry within Australia.
