In light of the social distancing requirements of the Australian and Victoria governments currently in place, the Committee has decided in the interests of health and safety to hold this year’s Annual General Meeting virtually. Unfortunately, members will not be able to physically attend the meeting. The Committee invites your attendance to the Annual General Meeting of members of the Moonee Valley Racing Club Inc. which will be held in the Committee Room, Level 4, at the Moonee Valley Racecourse and streamed via virtual platform on Tuesday 17 November 2020 at 6.00pm. Please click here to pre-register your attendance. Online login and registrations will commence from 5.00pm (AEST). The Business to be transacted will include: 1. Confirmation of the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting, held 19 November 2019; 2. Consideration of the accounts of the Club and the audit report for the year ended 31 July 2020; 3. Election of Committee Members The following Committee Members retire in accordance with the Rules and are eligible for re- election: Ms. Su-Ann Khaw Mr. Anthony Durakovic Mr. Peter Blunden No other members of the Club were nominated for election. In accordance with Rule 8.6 (2), the above three candidates shall be declared elected. 4. Election of Auditors in accordance with Rules 7.1 (3)(d) The present Auditors, Ernst & Young, are eligible for re-appointment and have indicated their desire to continue in the role, if appointed. 5. Special business of which notice has been given in accordance with the Club Rules 7.1(3) (f) and Rule 7.4 (5). 6. General business ANNUAL REPORT In line with our commitment to the environment, the Club will only post members a hard copy of the annual report upon request.
