12 Named in honour of a three-time W.S. Cox Plate legend, this award recognises annually the contribution made towards ‘The Race Where Legends are Made’ as determined by the MVRC Committee. 2020 KINGSTON TOWN GREATNESS AWARD INDUCTEE TEAM WINX In 2018, champion mare Winx won her 4th W.S. Cox Plate, becoming the greatest LEGEND in the race’s history. The MVRC Committee determined that Team Winx (Chris Waller, Hugh Bowman and Winx’s owners) will be inducted as Kingston Town Greatness Award winners in 2020.
