PRESIDENTS MESSAGE Welcome to Day 3 of the 2023 “bet365 Swan Hill June Racing Carnival”. On behalf of the Swan Hill Jockey Club Committee, I wish to thank all our sponsors across all three days. Your ongoing support is invaluable to our club and greatly appreciated. Thanks also must go to all visitors & locals who have made our great weekend one to remember so far. To all those who have purchased hospitality packages we trust you enjoy your day and have a great day out of socialising and racing. The highlight today is the running of the “bet365 Swan Hill Cup” valued at $175,000. The Swan Hill Jockey Club is thrilled to have bet365 on board as our major sponsor again for the next three years. Swan Hill Jockey Club in conjunction with Racing Victoria, Country Racing Victoria and the Victorian State Government continue to undertake significant works on both the course proper and course amenities, Patrons will notice the newly upgraded mounting yard and improvements to the betting ring enclosure. We thank all these partners for the ongoing support of our club. When all works are completed, we are sure these will provide a great racing and hospitality facility long into the future. Thoroughbred Racing in Victoria continues to thrive, and we are thrilled to be involved in making this happen. As well as the “bet365 Swan Hill Cup” today will also see the running of the “Ultima Hotel Think Big Classic”. We are fortunate to have such a great racing program and we thank all owners and trainers for attending across the 3 days.
