Metallurgist 16/05/2020 Gatton When questioned by Stewards in relation to the seemingly disappointing performance, jockey A.Allen advised that the gelding did not travel confidently at any stage on the tight turning circuit, and had a tendency to run off the track on the turns, however he could offer no other explanation for the disappointing performance.A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed no apparent abnormalities.
