A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Tnr rep said the gelding appeared to have done well since it’s last start win but in light of its disappointing performance, consideration would be given whether to continue its current campaign. When questioned regarding her riding in the home straight, App rdr stated that she was held up for clear running in the early part of the straight. She added that passing the 200m she observed a run between two runners but was reluctant to improve into this run due to one of those runners shifting ground whilst weakening.
