Passing 200m, became held up on heels, before shifting to inside near 150m to secure clear running. mnt then again became held up over final 50m whereby the gelding could not be tested. Warwick Farm 21/12/2022 Desi Emperor Passing 900m was bumped on hindquarter by another rnr. Approaching 200m laid in & away from another rnr. When qst re the gelding racing further back, Rdr std was issued no specific instructions, however, anticipated racing in a prominent position. Std after beginning only fairly & being bumped shortly after, mnt then failed to muster necessary speed to maintain his position. Std when racing wide & without cover in early stages, elected to restrain mnt to obtain cover whereby he settled in a position worse than midfield, which was further back than had intended. She added that after being briefly held up rounding the home turn her mount failed to respond to her riding in the home straight and was disappointing in the manner in which the mare failed to finish its race off. Hawkesbury 09/08/2022 Race 7 - 5:30PM BHP CLASS 1 HANDICAP (1280 METRES) Far Too Hot Rdr reported that the gelding, which was fractious prior to the start being effected, began awkwardly, lost ground and, as a result, settled further back than anticipated. He added that mnt then raced ungenerously throughout the event, proved difficult to ride and when placed under pressure in the straight was disappointing in its failure to finish the race off. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Stwds will follow up on the post-race condition in the days subsequent.Kembla Grange 30/07/2022 Geewiz Johnny Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Near the 200m laid in and made contact with a rnr on several occasions. Gosford 22/12/2022 Piraeus On jumping shifted out and made contact with a rnr. Gosford 22/12/2022 Tiva Bay (NZ) Stewards permitted rdr to ride the gelding 0.5kg over its allotted weight. Despite the efforts of its rdr, for some distance approaching and passing the 200m the gelding hung out badly. Subsequently, rdr had to stop riding, correct his mount and then lost ground. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Stable representative was advised the gelding must barrier trial prior to its next start. Newcastle 15/11/2022 Lightfast Raced three wide throughout the event. When questioned regarding the performance of the mare, jockey stated that his mount travelled only fairly throughout the early and middle stages. Jockey stated that from the 800m, his mount was under pressure and was disappointing in its run to the line. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.Taree 08/08/2022 Amberstern Rider stated that his mount travelled comfortably behind the leader throughout the early and middle stages. Rider stated that when pressured to improve rounding the home turn, his mount failed to let down as anticipated and was only fair in the run to the line. Rider stated that he was of the opinion, his mount which was having its second race start today, was unsuited by the deteriorating track conditions as well as being amongst tougher company and would derive benefit in experience from today’s event.
