Rider reported after beginning well the mare settled more forward than its previous start. They added Judge Jenni, which was stepping up significantly in distance today, travelled into the race particularly well, however, was disappointing in the manner in which it finished the race off and may not have run out today’s 2200m strongly. Passing the 100m when making ground had to alter course when a runner shifted out slightly. Passing the 50m was steadied from the heels of a runner which shifted in slightly under pressure and went to the line not fully tested. Rider reported that the gelding, which was having its first race start, was slow to begin, raced greenly throughout and would derive benefit from today’s first race experience. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any significant findings, after the filly was noted to have blood in its mouth on return to the mounting yard. CRAN 18/04/2025 Lava Delta Riderreported he was given no specific instructions and as the filly was stepping up in distance and with the addition of blinkers it began well and as a result led the field with little effort. RE the filly travelled well in the early stages of the event; however, did not let down when asked for an effort in the straight. Vet NVA. MRPK 22/03/2025 Faithinher Held up from the 350m until passing the 200m. When questioned regarding his riding from the 500m to the 300m, rider explained he observed the leader was beginning to lay out under pressure and was hoping to secure a run to the inside of that runner. He stated when a run did not eventuate, he elected to shift out across that runners heels in an attempt to find clear running. He acknowledged a tight run appeared to the inside of Auckland, however he was reluctant to take that run as that runner was commencing to shift in, therefore he improved to its outside where the mare found the line fairly. WERR 12/04/2025 Race 6 Coastal Agents Handicap 1500M Unfair Dismissal Slow to begin. Raced three wide without cover.SALE 08/04/2025 British Poet Began awkwardly. Rider reported that the gelding would appreciate tracks with more give. Post race vets - cardiac arrhythmia for the first time. CRAN 11/04/2025 Gago Gago Began awkwardly. Held up when unable to obtain a clear run from 500m until taking a tight run near 200m. PAKM 03/04/2025 Podargoni Raced wide in the early stages before taking up the lead near the 800m. TER 13/04/2025 Tapa Capall Shifted three wide passing the 1000m, allowed to stride to settle outside the leader near the 800m. Rider reported the gelding raced keenly in the early and middle staes and was disappointing and failed to repond to her riding. Vet discovered EIPH.MORN 29/09/2024

Vetted, no abs.SALE 08/04/2025 Amapola Raced wide and without cover throughout. Rdr said after mount covered additional ground it did not run on. GEEL 15/03/2025 Morisa Slow into stride. PAKM 20/02/2025 Paint Me Red (NZ) Raced keenly in the middle stages. Near the 500m was disappointed for a run. Held up from the 300m until passing the 200m. Rider stated her mount laid in throughout the race and near the 300m she attempted to shift her mount to the outside, however she was unable to do so due to her mount’s racing manners and became awkwardly positioned. She added as a result her mount was held up for a short distance, before gaining clear running. She added mount finished its race off well, however continued to lay in under pressure. She added mount may appreciate tracks with more give. KYNE10/04/2025 Women In Uniform Rider reported her mount was agitated enroute to the barriers, did not travel well during the race and as a result settled at the rear of the field. She added the mare made good ground when under pressure in the straight. CRAN 21/03/2025 Popeye The Sailor Rider reported he had intended to settle with cover however when wide in the early stages elected to stride forward to the lead. Raced keenly in the middle stages. SWCK 20/04/2025 Downtown Man Laid in under pressure over the final 200m. BALN 12/04/2025 Race 7 BetaVet Handicap 1200M Suppose I Do Slow into stride. Had difficulty in obtaining a clear run rounding the home turn. After viewing the films, rider conceded he would have been better placed in taking a run between Zadar Sunset and Bold Response shortly after straightening. Rider noted that during this period, he was still able to ride his mount out and build momentum, which did not affect its placing. CRAN 18/04/2025 Five Star King Knuckled on jumping away.
