8 Mayor’s Message On behalf of Mildura Rural City Council welcome to this year’s Mildura Cup Carnival. I’d like to congratulate and commend the Mildura Racing Club for the hard work and determination they’ve demonstrated pushing ahead with this year’s event, despite very difficult and uncertain times due to the ongoing pandemic. Despite the fact we aren’t able to welcome crowds to this year’s racing, the Mildura Cup Carnival remains a mainstay on the annual racing calendar and is a major event we’re proud to continue supporting this year. The carnival is a proven crowd-pleaser both on and off the track and I’d like to once again thank the Mildura Racing Club’s dedicated staff and volunteers for their tireless efforts to make sure racing can still go ahead at this year’s event.
