2 Mildura Racing Club Chairman’s Message Well we are back and racing at Mildura for this year’s 98th edition of the bet365 Mildura Cup! Up until a week ago, it was going to be a huge celebration with large crowds and great entertainment expected. Unfortunately, due to current Covid-19 restrictions, we have been forced to race behind closed doors. Racing has done an amazing job to continue while under the extreme pressures we all face during this Covid-19 pandemic. I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Swan Hill Jockey Club for hosting last year’s bet365 Mildura Cup, and congratulate Phil Stokes and his team, Michael Poy and More Than Exceed on their win. While we are disappointed that we are not able to host crowds, it doesn’t mean we still can’t enjoy a greats days racing, watching the event over two days on Racing.com and other channels.
