Pre-race samples were taken from: EQUAL BALANCE, MUSELET, EXTREME EMOTION, STEAL THE FIELD, ENUFF RED, HELL FIRE MISS, DENBE, LORD GEORGE, THE KID, FLASH FIORENTE and all runners engaged in Race 7. All riders were breath tested for the presence of alcohol prior to riding. Reprimands: Race 1 – Apprentice Jockey E. Lines, reprimanded for a whip breach, AR132(7)(a)(ii). Race 2 – Jockey J Lyon, reprimanded for a whip breach, AR132(7)(a)(ii). Race 6 – Apprentice Jockey D Gillett, reprimanded for a whip breach, AR132(7)(a)(ii). Race 7 – Trainer P Cole, fined $300 for lodging a protest which, in the opinion of the Stewards was frivolous – AR219(5).
