HE’S ESSENTIAL (J Todd) – Commenced awkwardly. Pulled up by its rider shortly after the finish. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a fracture to the near foreleg and the gelding was subsequently euthanised on humane grounds. EQUAL BALANCE (J Hampson) – Shifted outwards across heels to obtain clear running passing the 200m. THE MEN WENT HOME (P Denton) –Bumped and carried outwards approaching the 1400m. Raced wide from the 550m. Returned with blood on the near fore hoof from a minor injury that required no further veterinary treatment. THE FINAL WORD (S Logan) – Commenced awkwardly. Bumped and crowded for room for several strides approaching the 1400m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have returned with an elevated heart rate. When questioned regarding the unplaced performance rider advised that in his opinion his mount would be better suited over an increased distance. CASSETTE (J Booth) – Held up rounding the home turn. JUELENE (S Logan) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. Lay outwards from the 600m until entering the home straight. Prior to correct weight, the rider of 5th placed COLLISON (S. Tsaikos) viewed the replay of the race in the back straight and decided not to take any further action and accordingly correct weight was declared. DELUSIONALDICTATOR (S Fawke) – Lay inwards in the early stages and passing the 650m. DANCER FOR MONEY (W Davis) – Bumped heavily and unbalanced near the 700m. SIMPLY JUST (H Le Blanc) – Lay outwards in running and despite the efforts of its rider shifted out near the 700m contacting another runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the near fore. Trainer C Pollard was advised that he must present a veterinary clearance for the gelding prior to racing again. ROSSANADO (P Shiers) – Slow to begin and bumped. Steadied near the 650m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have returned with an elevated heart rare. COLLISON (S Tsaikos) – Steadied off heels when racing tightly approaching the 1100m. NY KEE (K Sardelic) – Slow to begin. Rider reported that the mare lay outwards in running. Raced wide throughout. SOUL SPIRIT (R Vigar) – Raced wide throughout. CANADA BAY (S Logan) – Bumped and crowded near the 700m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare to have minor lacerations to off hind heel bulb and minor abrasions to both hind coronets. TILUSSION (J Lyon) – Commenced awkwardly and bumped. General - On inquiry it was established that approaching the 700m SIMPLY JUST (H Le Blanc) lay outwards despite the efforts of its rider making contact with DANCER FOR MONEY (W Davis) which in turn bumped and crowded CANADA BAY (S Logan) when racing to the inside of DELUSIONALDICTATOR (S Fawke) which also shifted in marginally when laying inwards. Near the 650m, SIMPLY JUST (H Le Blanc) contacted the running rail and became unbalanced and again shifted out placing DANCER FOR MONEY and CANADA BAY in restricted room to the inside of DELUSIONALDICTATOR. 1ST TILUSSION 2ND TO THE POINT 3RD DELUSIONALDICTATOR Stewards Report

Raced wide from the 600m.A post race vet revealed the mare to have returned with abrasions to both hind bumpers. JUICE BOX (S Logan) – Carried outwards by another runner from the 200m. A post-race veterinary examination revealed that the mare had a small laceration to the left hind coronet. DAMO DAYZ (P Shiers) – Rider reported that the gelding after commencing awkwardly, got its head up and struck him in the face with him losing his near side iron and becoming momentarily unbalanced whilst regaining the use of it. BRAT (D Gillett) – Lay outwards into the first turn. 1ST WILD BEAU 2ND ZOURATA 3RD BRAT Race 5: PointsBet Handicap 0-58 – 1600m FABERGE TZAR (K Sardelic) – Over raced in the early and middle stages. Shifted outwards from the heels of a tiring runner near the 500m. MARVELOUS NIGHT (P Hamblin) – Impeded off the heels of another runner near the 300m. MIRACOLI (P Shiers) – Slow into stride. ARIARNE (J Booth) – Rider advised that the mare lay outwards between the 1200m until on straightening. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had bled from the right nostril. Trainer N Dyer advised the mare must gallop satisfactorily prior to racing again in accordance with AR79. NEW ENTERPRISE (J Lyon) – Veered inwards on jumping, bumping with another runner. Raced wide from the 1000m. MISS MOOV (D Gillett) – Fractious in the barriers. Commenced awkwardly. PUB CRAWL (J Hampson) – A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding had an elevated heart rate. 17 Betting Regulations BET LIMITS At all race meetings conducted in the Northern Territory, a bookmaker is obliged to lay the odds displayed if demanded by the backer (including bet backs), except that the bookmaker is not compelled to lose on any one bet more than: (a) $1000 on any one Win only bet, Win and Place bet or Each Way bet. (b) $600 on any one Place only bet. (c) These limits apply up until 3 minutes prior to the advertised starting time of all local and interstate races. (d) No bookmaker shall accept a bet of less than $1 or where the bet is win and place - $1 each way. Prior to the commencement of betting on each race bookmakers must display a sign on their board clearly stating whether they wish to bet Win Only, Win and Place, Place Only or Each Way. Provided that once betting for that race has commenced no bookmaker is permitted to change from the form of betting displayed on their board. A bookmaker operating on a racecourse shall exhibit the odds first offered by him or her on each horse engaged in a local race at least 30 minutes before the advertised starting time of the first race and thereafter within 5 minutes after the declaration of correct weight or announcement of a protest. BETTING Bookmakers will payout in the following manner depending on the number of runners in the field at the time the bet was placed: 8 or more runners – pay first, second and third 5, 6 or 7 runners – pay first and second 4 runners or less – pay first only LATE SCRATCHING In the event a horse is a late scratching all bets on that runner are to be refunded (except for all in betting) and the Stewards will order deductions apply to all successful wagers on the race. DISPUTES Punters are advised to check the details of their betting ticket prior to leaving the vicinity of the Bookmakers stand. If there is a dispute in relation to any bet or you lose your betting ticket contact the Betting Supervisor located in the bookmakers ring.
