Shortly after, again bumped by a runner carried out by a runner when that runner shifted out away from the heels of another runner. Approaching the end of the race was hampered when awkwardly placed near heels of another runner which shifted out slightly. SCNE 25/10/2024 Superhero Bumped shortly after the start. Rdr reported intention to settle in a more-forward position, however after being slow to begin the colt then did not show any early speed and, as a result, settled behind midfield. W FM 23/10/2024 Race 3 BELLE PROPERTY HAWKESBURY F&M MAIDEN PLATE 1400M Elite Delight Approaching the 100m had to be shifted to the inside of runners to continue into clear running, however when doing so quickly improved onto heels and was unable to be fully tested over the concluding stages. Held up early part of the home straight and near the 300m made contact with another runner when racing tight. Shortly after, shifted out and bumped. Passing the 200m, when endeavouring to secure clear running, shifted in and made contact with another runner. Near the 400m was checked and became unbalanced after being bumped. HAWK 24/10/2024 Marenaro Rdr reported his mnt settled in a more-prominent position than was anticipated, which may not have suited his mnt and it gave ground when under pressure in the home straight. He said the gelding, in his view, would be better suited ridden back in the field and may be looking for a longer distance. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities. Tnr reported the gelding performs best on softer surfaces. Tnr was told a vet clearance is required prior to next race/trial. Vet clearance since received. RAND 26/10/2024 Seething Seb Near 600m shifted three-wide to improve into the race.
