5 Useful Information Non-Smoking Venue Under NSW Government Laws Grafton Racecourse is a non-smoking venue. However two (2) designated smoking areas are available adjacent to the Westlawn Area and behind the Betting Ring. LOOK FOR THE SIGNS Responsible Service of alcohol The Clarence River Jockey Club promotes and practices the Responsible Service of Alcohol. The key objective is to ensure that the behavior of our racegoers does not adversely impact other patrons, staff, our neighbours and the community at large. All staff members have been trained in the Responsible Service of Alcohol and are instructed not to serve any alcoholic beverages to guests under 18 years or to guests in a state of intoxication. Patrons deemed to be unduly intoxicated will be refused service and may be asked to leave the premises. Under 18’s Under NSW Liquor Laws minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. A responsible adult is defined as an adult who is: A parent or guardian of the minor The minor’s spouse or de facto partner Standing in as the parent of the minor for the time being. Dress Regulations Clean, neat and tidy appearance is required at all times. Footwear must be worn. Strict dress regulations apply in the Members & Marquee Areas. On other days cash out is available at the Race Day Office adjacent to the Main Entrance. First Aid The First Aid room is located to the left of the takeaway food outlet in the food court area. Cloak Room The Cloak Room is located to the left of the takeaway food outlet in the food court area (next to the First Aid room) ) and operates on South Cup, Ramornie & Grafton Cup Days only. Transport Rabbit Ride Share will depart from adjacent to the Jockeys parking area to the left of the main entrance. Rabbit Ride Share is available by calling 0455 700 300. $5 Buses will depart from the Main Entrance area commencing at 4.00pm. NOTE: $5 Buses only run on Ramornie and Grafton Cup Days.
