8 Notice To Patrons The Totalisator operating at this Club is a Direct Link to the Queensland TAB and all tickets may be collected here or at any TAB Agency and amounts may be paid into or withdrawn from Telephone Accounts on production of your account information. Punters are reminded that it is their sole responsibility to check that all tickets and amounts are correct. CANCELLATIONS TOTALISATOR WAGERING 1. Tickets purchased up to forty minutes before the advertised race start time may be cancelled at any time up to forty minutes prior to race start time. 2. Tickets purchased within forty minutes of the advertised race start time may be cancelled in the event of an error, provided the cancellation is requested at the offi ce of issue within fi ve (5) minutes of the time of issue, and is completed prior to race start time. 3. Any ticket which involves a late scratching may be cancelled at any offi ce up to two minutes prior to race start time. CANCELLATIONS FIXED ODDS WAGERING Fixed odds tickets may only be cancelled in the event of an error, and provided the cancellation is completed within two minutes of the time of issue, and prior to the close of betting. UNDER-AGE BETTING: 1. A person shall not place a bet, or take part in a Keno game, either on his or her or any other person’s behalf, who is under 18 years of age. 2. A person who is the operator of, or who assists in operating, a totalisator or fixed odds betting service is not permitted to: a. accept a bet from, or give a ticket or other acknowledgement for a bet to, a minor; or b. allow a minor to establish an account for conducting betting by telephone; or c. otherwise allow a minor to take part in wagering. At all thoroughbred racing venues in Queensland and for all venues on which the Bookmaker conducts business, the Bookmaker is required to bet to lose the sum of $1000.00 in one single wager when requested to do so at the displayed price as advertised on that individual Bookmaker’s display Bookmakers Minimum Wagers
