RON HUTCHISON LEADING JOCKEY AWARD Named in honour of Racing Hall of Fame inductee, Ron Hutchinson and acknowledges the outstanding performance of the jockey who has accrued the most number of points throughout the 2022 Melbourne Cup Carnival. The winner of the Ron Hutchison Leading Jockey Award will receive a Panerai Luminor Due valued at $11,200 courtesy of our major partner Kennedy, the world’s finest destination for watches and jewellery. Points for the JB Cummings Leading Trainer Award and the Ron Hutchinson Leading Jockey Award are allocated per race on a 3-2-1 basis for horses who finish first, second and third during all races of the 2022 Melbourne Cup Carnival 2022 MCC LEADING TRAINER & JOCKEY
