Lexus Melbourne Cup Barrier Draw – after the last The Lexus Melbourne Cup Barrier Draw sees one person connected with each horse in the final field, draw the barrier that they will race from for the ‘the race that stops a nation’™. It will be conducted in the Mounting Yard with formalities commencing at 5:30pm. This is an invitation only event, extended to connections who have a horse in the final field for the 2023 Lexus Melbourne Cup. VRC members and guests are welcome to watch from the seating decks of The Grandstand and The Club Stand along with the Members Lawn. This event will be televised live on 10play from 6:30pm. In the event of wet weather, the Lexus Melbourne Cup Barrier Draw will be relocated to The Domain.
