5 Medical Emergency Procedures If a person requires medical attention the following procedures must be followed: 1. Call Emergency on 000. Tell operator that you are at the Fannie Bay Race Track and there is a Saint Johns ambulance on site. Give clear details of the ‘injured persons’ location and problem, stay on the line until the operator tells you to hang up. 2. 2. The Management team will need to be advised by radio. It is important that all information is forwarded to the Management team so that the accident / incident can be recorded and investigated. Evacuation Procedures 1. Should an emergency situation arise, the alarm system will be heard (RINGING SOUND). 2. All Managers are trained Wardens. The Chief Operating Officer is the Chief Warden and manages the Muster Points. 3. The Warden is appointed to control the emergency evacuation procedures for their area of responsibility (see map). 4. On hearing the evacuation alarm, patrons are requested to remain calm and prepare to follow instructions from Emergency Wardens. 5. On hearing the evacuation alarm the Wardens will usher you to the nearest Muster point (see map). In the event of an emergency, please remember: 1. Listen carefully to alarm tones; 2. Follow the directions of the Emergency Wardens; 3. Move quickly and quietly to a designated Muster Point; 4. Await further instructions from the Chief Warden. important information
