Named in honour of Supreme Court Justice, the late Honourable Justice William Charles Crockett AO for his outstanding contribution to the Moonee Valley Racing Club during 14 years of tenure on the Committee – ten of which were served as ViceChairman. Affectionately known as Bill – his association with horse racing was extensive and he was involved in rebuilding the facilities for members and patrons to enjoy at The Valley.
