We are thrilled to welcome back up to 5,000 Members and racegoers to Caulfield for Boxing Day Races. Featuring a 9-race card and the return of dining to The Heath, it surely will be a day of celebration. This increase in capacity has fortunately allowed for our premium dining establishments including Black Caviar and The Promenade by Julian Robertshaw to be open to our Members for bookings for the first time since February. Our premier members’ facilities like the very popular Medallion Bar, Caulfield Wine Bar and The 1876 are also open – guaranteed to provide a good time for your day back at the races. We are also excited to welcome back general admission patrons to the front lawn to recreate that trackside energy we have sorely missed. With at least 5,000 racegoers permitted across our January race meetings at Caulfield, the Club will continue to work with the Government and Racing Victoria to determine attendance numbers for the remaining race days in Summer and across Mornington and Ladbrokes Park, as well as our feature Group One race days - C.F. Orr Stakes Family Day and Neds Blue Diamond Stakes Day in February. We’ll be in a position to make some announcements regarding our plans very soon. Back to today, whether you’re in Black Caviar, on a picnic rug on the front lawn or watching along at home – we hope you have a terrific Boxing Day and celebrate the end of the year in style. We will all be staying up New Year’s Eve to make sure this unforgettable year is gone. We hope that 2021 will be a good year for us all with lots of great races to attend.
