Caulfield
CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE Spring is in the air this Hyland Race Colours Underwood Stakes Day as we prepare to see some exciting Carnival contenders descend on the Heath. Weather may be a bit ordinary but as we are all at home, we may need to look for wet trackers although our track is racing brilliantly. The most talked about horse, Russian Camelot will take his place in the Group 1 feature and the day will also play host to the Neds Caulfield Guineas and Schweppes Thousand Guineas Preludes set to shape what is to come for an exciting Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival. We are pleased to welcome Mr Peter Comley virtually to the race day, as our Name In Lights member. An MRC member for the last 33 years, Peter rarely misses a race meeting not only at our tracks, but right around the state and today we name the Peter Comley Handicap in his honour and can’t wait to welcome him and all our members back on track soon. This week, we’ve launched our Carnival Super Boxes ready for you to plan your at-home Carnival. These Super Boxes have been such a popular initiative already, and so we really do encourage all members to order one for our Carnival race days so that we can enjoy the menus together while watching all the action at Caulfield. Book early to ensure you get your Super Box. The five Super Boxes are available across Neds Caulfield Guineas Day (Saturday 10 October), Catanach’s Jewellers Blue Sapphire Stakes Day (Wednesday 14 October), and Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Day (Saturday 17 October).
