Caulfield

3 We are focused on creating safe spaces from which our Members might enjoy our Stella Artois Caulfield Cup Carnival in the hopes that we can welcome some of you trackside. We are also working on other ways we can entertain you and continue to bring you the best of spring racing, even if from afar. We are innovating ourselves. It’s something we pride ourselves on doing well, and we hope to prove it again this year. It may look different, there is no escaping that fact, but we are hopeful that we will be seeing you on course, and it is to that end that we put our efforts. The Club has been overwhelmed with the support from our loyal Member base renewing early for the season ahead even when there is no set date to open the gates and have them back on track. Brendan Dart, Laurelle Owens, Elizabeth Mooney and Mark Needham have all committed to the Club’s voluntary renewal for 2020/21 and as a way of saying thank you, we have named races on Bletchingly Stakes Day in their honour. Thank you for your ongoing support and for the many responses that you are sending me. Take care, wear your masks, I hope you back a winner or three this Bletchingly Stakes Day. Enjoy racing from home and stay positive. We will get back to the track as soon as it is safe to do so. Peter Le Grand Chairman Melbourne Racing Club A MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN
